BS EN 16001:2009 Energy management systems. Requirements with guidance for use

BS EN 16001 will help your business establish the systems and processes necessary to improve energy efficiency. This will help to save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through systematic management of energy.

BS EN 16001 specifies requirements for an energy management system to enable you to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and information about significant energy aspects. ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality management systems -- Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for automotive production and relevant service part organizations

ISO/TS 16949:2009, in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008, defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products.
ISO/TS 16949:2009 is applicable to sites of the organization where customer-specified parts, for production and/or service, are manufactured.
Supporting functions, whether on-site or remote (such as design centres, corporate headquarters and distribution centres), form part of the site audit as they support the site, but cannot obtain stand-alone certification to ISO/TS 16949:2009.
ISO/TS 16949:2009 can be applied throughout the automotive supply chain.

2010 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code: Section VIII – Pressure Vessels Division 1

Section VIII Division 1

BPVC-VIII of Section 1 provides requirements applicable to the design, fabrication, inspection, testing, and certification of pressure vessels operating at either internal or external pressures exceeding 15 psig. Such pressure vessels may be fired or unfired. Specific requirements apply to several classes of material used in pressure vessel construction, and also to fabrication methods such as welding, forging and brazing. It contains mandatory and nonmandatory appendices detailing supplementary design criteria, nondestructive examination and inspection acceptance standards. Rules pertaining to the use of the U, UM and UV Code symbol stamps are also included.

BPVC-VIII is issued with an automatic addenda service. Addenda will be issued in loose leaf format to facilitate insertion of replacement pages. A BSI ASME binder is available, but the publication will also fit a standard three ring binder. The addenda service includes all updates issued prior to publication of the next edition in July 2013.

NBIC National Board Inspection Code 2011 Edition Set

An International Standard and a longtime North American National Standard, the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) is required in the United States and Canadian jurisdictions. The 2007 edition will not expire until 2011 and since the previous edition of the NBIC in 2004 the NBIC (NBIC07) of 2007 has great improvements and looks much different since the inception of the original NBIC soft bound handbook decades ago with very concise rules.
